New Year’s also mean we examine the year that has just happened too.
We had some lovely guests to the various properties during 2017 and thought we would share some of the highlights with you.
We love to host Hen Parties and make them extra special for our guests. We also have a lot of extra ideas for you to consider – so ask Gayle about these in case you are a novice!
Some of our finds have been naughty but very nice! They include a fabulous Vintage tea shop in Chichester which is well worth a visit and do a gluten-free, vegan and even sugar free ranges! All homemade on site.
May is bluebell time – you can NEVER have enough of too many Sussex bluebells and 2017 was a stupendous year for them!
We have welcomed and played with more dogs this year. This has been great as Gayle now has her own dog – Echo, a rescue standard poodle, who is calm and friendly as long as you are not a rabbit or deer in which case there is a chase! With the gardens being large and many long, local walks on the doorstep our canine visitors enjoy their stays and the extra goodies that they get. Dogs! and Local dog walks
Children are also frequent visitors and we upgraded some of the toys and part of the garden to make their stays more adventurous too. More info here
Some of our guests come from a long way away and arrive with their fabulous cars too! The Goodwood Revival is a mecca and our regular French guests have millions of pounds of metal sitting on the drive! It is quite a noise when they all start up!
